We started vivarbi to address one of the most important challenges companies face – getting the right people onboard within demanding timeframes. We talked to business managers, we talked to recruiters, we learned of their frustrations. We realised that outsourcing recruitment was not an attractive option for the many companies who place a very high value on their human capital. We became convinced that we knew what was really needed – a simpler recruitment application which was smoothly connected to the growing social media channels and job boards.

This application would collate and summarise the candidate profile data, schedule interviews and hook into the latest technology toolsets. That was the minimum start point. The Cloud was coming over the horizon and we moved to meet it, building a team quickly to develop a real recruitment self-service application, way beyond the minimum. The security, reliability and simple scalability (up and down) of Cloud infrastructure, as well as its easy availability as a service and its low staff overhead, was convincing.
